On my Voki avatar everything explains me. The soccer ball means that I am sporty and love the outdoors. The sunglasses say the I love the summer weather. The top on my avatar means I like fashionable clothing. The pants on my person explain that I love exploring. Well, that’s me.

Offline vs Online
Offline vs Online
When I’m online, I like to play games. If I got to choose my way, I would game until all my fingers had blisters, actually then I would play with toes and my nose and my everything else I could think of.
I also like to video chat every night with my friends and we send photos of our goofy selves.
Offline, I love animals and the beach. At the beach, my mum hates the seaweed because it’s all slimy. I love singing and dancing. I do cheer leading and I’m obsessed with it.
Well, that’s me

Lexia
Lexia core 5 is a helpful program for some. It expands children's vocabulary and reading skills. Lexia is a program you can access through a iPad, computer (etc). On Lexia there are different activities and levels, at the moment I'm on level 15.

What I like about this design……
Designed by: AJ Main
From: Manawatu-Wanganui
Name: NZ Flag
I like how this illustrator has used the same colours as our now existing NZ flag. This illustrator has taken the union jack out of his design, but kept the other symbols the same.
This is a comment from the illustrator.
“Close enough to current form to make transition easy BUT replaces a symbol of colonialism with a a Kiwi design icon”

In room 9 a group of people are doing lexia core 5. Some of those students are us. Some of our questions include idioms. For example to spill the beans. That question doesn’t literally mean to spill beans, because it’s an idiom. It actually means to tell a secret.

Room 9 rectangle maths group have been working on decimal numbers.
These are the kind of questions Mrs Cribb have been giving us. For example
0.7 + 0.3 = 1.0
It’s just like 7 + 3 = 10 with the decimal point.

A.N.Z.A.C
Walking across the unstable creaky bridge, trying to hold itself up, broken sticks blocking their paths. Smoke filled the air and the leafless trees sighed, as the exhausted soldiers glooped sadly past.
No chance they'll survive.

See if you can spot the personification (human quality) in my story.
