My Carnival Art

This week is the Frankley School carnival. For carnival every year, all the students have to make some sort of art or craft. “Carnival Art.”


And then our family buy it back to raise money for the school.


I have made a popsicle stick house. “Popsicle Deluxe.” My house is two story and has a trap door at the top.
                                                       

I am selling mine for $4.50.


I am proud of all my effort put into my carnival art.

This Week I’m proud of my knowledge goal. My knowledge goal is “Round Decimals to the Nearest Tenth or Hundredth.”

Next week I think I’ll be ready to prove my goal. Here is some of my work…

A Mystery

I lay in bed frustrated and confused. I can't tell the time yet, I'm only four, but I assumed it was somewhere in middle of the night. I wonder, are mum and dad still awake, should I get up and check. I will, and by the way I decided this proud and confidently by my own choice. 

I'm now creeping out of my bed into the hallway. It's dark and cold out here compared to my nice, warm, snuggly bed. Luckily the bathroom light’s on.

I slinked into the quiet, empty room and peeked round the blunt corner of the wall. 

I saw it there and then. I could just make out a black motionless figure sitting cross legged on the chair across the back of the lounge. I froze like a snowman.  My heart felt as if it was thumping so hard it was about to come right out of my chest. By now my whole body was shaking as if I was getting massaged karate style. My mind was focused on one thing, nothing more. I quickly and quietly backed away. 




I slipped back into my bed, tucked myself in, sealed my eyes closed and never got out of bed again.

Inter school

Yesterday inter schoolers went on a journey to Coastal School in Okato. The Netballers, the rugby team and the footballers played against the students of Coastal. I'm in the football team, I'm proud of us because we played real good with our defence and the attackers were great getting past the other team's defence.
The final score was 8-0 to Frankley. I'm looking ford to our next game.

I have 1 brother and 1 sister
my favorite band is AC DC And my favourite sports team is the all blacks. My favourite food is sushi.
I have a dog named Roy, a cat called Max and a kitten called gabby.
My favourite subjects at school are writing and maths
My learning goals are knowing subtraction facts to twenty and starting my writing with an interesting hook
My strengths- (what I am good at) are writing and running

On my Voki avatar everything explains me. The soccer ball means that I am sporty and love the outdoors. The sunglasses say the I love the summer weather. The top on my avatar means I like fashionable clothing. The pants on my person explain that I love exploring. Well, that’s me.

Offline vs Online

When I’m online, I like to play games. If I got to choose my way, I would game until all my fingers had blisters, actually then I would play with toes and my nose and my everything else I could think of.

I also like to video chat every night with my friends and we send photos of our goofy selves.

Offline, I love animals and the beach. At the beach, my mum hates the seaweed because it’s all slimy. I love singing and dancing. I do cheer leading and I’m obsessed with it.
